Crossmember Crosses highly recommends having a licensed contractor install large heavy crosses.
Wall construction should have wood blocking located in proper location to mount the cross mounting brackets.
Mounting brackets are mounted on the vertical crossmember. 108" and 120" crosses should have mounting brackets on vertical and horizontal crossmember.
