Lifetime Limited Warranty
All cross products are covered by a Lifetime Limited Warranty against defects in workmanship and structural construction for the lifetime of the original purchaser.
This warranty strictly excludes:
- Normal wear and tear
- Alterations or modifications made by the owner
- Misuse, neglect, or accidents
- Fire, water, or environmental damage
Natural Wood Characteristics & Finish Disclaimer
Every cross we build is handcrafted from solid, natural wood. By purchasing, you acknowledge that wood is an organic material subject to natural variations. The following conditions are natural traits of the material and are not considered manufacturing or workmanship defects:
- Grain & Knots: Natural variations in wood grain, texture, mineral streaks, and unique knots.
- Stain Absorption: Variations in color tone, saturation, and finish between individual pieces of wood, even when the same stain formula is applied.
- Environmental Reactions: Minor expansion, contraction, hairline checking, or slight wood movement caused by changes in seasonal humidity and temperature.
- Natural Aging: Subtle changes or darkening of the wood and finish over time due to UV and natural light exposure.
Backlighting components are covered by a one-year limited warranty. All warranties apply only to the original purchaser and are non-transferable.
Because all cross products are custom-made and stained after an order is placed, returns are accepted only if we shipped the wrong size, shipped the wrong stain color, or the product was damaged during shipping.
If your order arrives damaged, you must take the following steps.
- Take clear photos of the damaged box, crate, and product (required for shipping claims).
- Email us the photos immediately.
- Save the original box or crate to make returns easy for shipping back.
- Note on Storage: Do not leave bubble wrap or foam in direct contact with the product during storage, as it may leave marks on the finish. Wood products must be allowed to breathe. Restricting airflow may cause surface drying or cracking.
- If a return is approved, we will email you a prepaid shipping label.
Installation & Safety Acknowledgement
For over 20 years , Crossmember Crosses has handcrafted high-quality, solid wood wall crosses and church crosses. In our two decades of business, we are proud to maintain flawless safety record with zero mounting failures and zero customer online complaints . This record reflects both the premium quality of our workmanship and the care our customers take when hanging these sacred pieces.
Because our items are handcrafted from solid, heavy timber, proper installation is vital to ensure long-term safety and stability:
- Customer Responsibility: Crossmember Crosses operates strictly as the product fabricator. By proceeding with installation, the buyer, installer, or contracting entity accepts absolute liability for evaluating the structural integrity of the chosen mounting surface, utilizing proper hardware, and executing the final physical assembly.
- Professional Installation Requirement: Due to the substantial weight and scale of our larger sizes (including multi-layer and heavy wood beam crosses), professional installation by a licensed contractor or qualified trade professional is required.
- Limitation of Liability: The manufacturer assumes zero liability for injuries, structural collapse, or property damages resulting from improper placement, field hardware substitution, failed studs, or failure to securely anchor the item.
