 The Message of the Cross

1 Corinthians 1:18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

Acts 17: 26-27 And God has made from one blood every nation of people to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their pre-appointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us.

Luke 23: 33 – 34 There were also two others, criminals, led with Jesus to be put to death. And when they had come to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Jesus, and the criminals, one on the right hand and the other on the left. Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.”

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you unless you believed in vain. That Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures and that He was buried and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.

John 3:16 Jesus Christ said, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”.

Romans 5:9 Much more then, having been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

Matthew 10: 28 Jesus Christ said, “And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear God, who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell"

John 8:24 Jesus Christ said, "Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins”

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Acts 10:43 To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins.

Romans 10:9-10 That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

2 Corinthians 6:2 For God says, In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you. Behold now is the accepted time, behold, now is the day of salvation.
