The Christmas Celebration
Luke 2: 8 - 14 Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, born of a virgin who had conceived of the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ was God in the flesh. Because of the great love of God, Jesus Christ, the Holy and Righteous One, having never committed any sin, went to the cross willingly to be crucified and became the sacrifice for sins penalty, a penalty that no one else could pay for us to avoid God's righteous eternal judgment in Hell. Being raised from the dead the third day and then ascended to the right hand of God as the King of kings and Lord of lords. Jesus Christ is coming back at the Rapture of the saints and will then defeat all enemies till all are judged and cast into the eternal fires and darkness of Hell. Jesus Christ came to seek and to save those who are lost. Salvation is a gift from God through faith in His Son Jesus Christ, to avoid the eternal judgment and be able to live a life honoring to God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ while on this earth.
